Accepted Paper at ECIR 2026!

I’m happy to share that a paper research I co-authored on, was accepted for publication at the ECIR 2026 resource paper track!

Paper title: GREAT: a Group Recommendation Evaluation and Analysis Tool

In this research, we contributed to the field of Group Recommender Systems (GRS) by conducting a live user study using our proposed framework. The results demonstrate that interaction awareness enhances group satisfaction and reveals important social dynamics in GRS.

You can check it out here!

This was my first ever research contribution, and I learned a lot. From choosing the topic and designing the framework to full-time coding and conducting live experiments with real users. There’s so much to talk about and reflect on, since I truly experienced the whole package.

Also, I would like to thank my co-authors David Contreras, María Salamó and Ludovico Boratto for their collaboration and for making this work possible.

(I know, this felt like a Linkedin post but without emojis)
